Overview: Section 10.5 of S.L. 2024‑51 requires the Department of Environmental Quality to amend the "Air Curtain Incinerators Rule" to provide that, consistent with recent revisions to the federal Clean Air Act's Air Curtain Incinerators Title V Permitting provisions, owners and operators of certain permanent and temporary air curtain incinerators are not required to obtain a General Title V Operating Permit.
This section became effective October 10, 2024.
