2021 Redistricting Process
The North Carolina General Assembly enacted new plans for the U.S. House of Representatives, NC House of Representatives, and NC Senate in November 2021, following the return of the federal decennial census counts in August. Subsequent legal challenges to all three plans resulted in the General Assembly enacting new district plans in February 2022. For additional information, please visit our main redistricting page.
