Overview: Section 3B.3 of S.L. 2024‑57 clarifies that the Governor cannot waive, modify, suspend, or fail to enforce or execute any provision of Chapter 96 (Employment Security) of the General Statutes under powers granted under the Emergency Management Act.
This bill was vetoed by the Governor on November 26, 2024, and that veto was overridden by the General Assembly on December 11, 2024.
This section becomes effective March 1, 2025.
