Overview: Section 1C.5 of S.L. 2024‑57 extends the following to March 1, 2025, for certified administrators of adult care homes who either work as administrators or live in the affected area: (i) the validity of the administrator certification, (ii) the deadline to complete annual continuing education requirements, and (iii) the deadline to submit applications for renewal and pay renewal fees.
This bill was vetoed by the Governor on November 26, 2024, and that veto was overridden by the General Assembly on December 11, 2024. This act became effective December 11, 2024.
