Overview: Section 11.14 of S.L. 2026‑41 (Senate Bill 257) eliminates references to daily transcripts of evidence in hearings before the Utilities Commission and allows court reporters to provide transcripts of evidence and testimony in rate cases by the tenth business day after the taking of the evidence and testimony, rather than the third business day, and on the tenth business day in a hearing on an application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity for the construction of a facility for the generation of electricity, rather than the second business day.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
