Overview: Section 11.12 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) requires payment of a daily per diem of $180 to members of the Utilities Commission, in addition to their regular salary, for each day an overnight stay is required to conduct official Commission business, not to exceed 10 overnight stays per calendar month.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
