Overview: Section 11.1 of S.L. 2026-61 (House Bill 268) repeals Section 43.11 of S.L. 2026-41 to replace the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in-home license renewal pilot program with a study evaluating the feasibility of the pilot program.
The DMV must report its findings and recommendations to the Joint Legislative Transportation Oversight Committee and the Fiscal Research Division no later than January 1, 2027.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
