Overview: Section 17 of S.L. 2026-46 (House Bill 1094) sets a lower default speed limit of 25 mph Statewide for roadways that are unpaved or that are not marked with a centerline.
This section becomes effective December 1, 2026, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date.
