Overview: Section 30 of S.L. 2026-46 (House Bill 1094) amends the existing statutory authorization for collegiate insignia special registration plates to include community colleges. The additional $15 fee for an in-state collegiate insignia plate for a community college is transferred to the State Board of Community Colleges to be used for academic enhancement.
This section became effective July 7, 2026.
