Overview: Section 16 of S.L. 2026‑46 (House Bill 1094) amends a recently enacted prohibition on certain trucks travelling in the left lane by eliminating the passing exception and provides that the restriction does not apply if the Department of Transportation imposes different restrictions by ordinance.
This section becomes effective December 1, 2026, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date.
