Overview: Section 6 of S.L. 2026-46 (House Bill 1094) eliminates the current statutory requirement that the Division of Motor Vehicles replaces motor vehicle dealer license plates every four years, which are plates issued to motor vehicles dealers for use on dealer inventory.
This section became effective July 7, 2026.
