Overview: Section 25.1.(d) of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) requires that funds received as repayment of loans made from the Rural Health Care Stabilization Fund (Fund) revert to the General Fund at the end of each fiscal year. It further requires that the Fund close upon the receipt of the last payment due on a loan made from the Fund.
This subsection became effective July 1, 2026.
