Overview: Section 14.2 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) exempts the following divisions within the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources from the required use of the Temporary Solutions Program:

  • Division of Parks and Recreation.
  • Division of North Carolina Aquariums.
  • Division of State Historic Sites.
  • Division of State History Museums.
  • North Carolina Museum of Art.
  • North Carolina State Museum of Natural Sciences.
  • North Carolina Zoological Park.
  • Tryon Palace Commission.
  • U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Commission.
