§ 147-68.3.  To make short-term notes in emergencies.

Subject to the approval of the Governor and Council of State, the State Treasurer is authorized to make short-term notes for temporary emergencies, but such notes must only be made to provide for appropriations already made by the General Assembly.  (1915, c. 168, s. 3; C.S., s. 7685; recodified from N.C.
