§ 113-300.23.  (Effective December 1, 2026) Airboats and seaplanes; mufflers.

The use of airboats or seaplanes on the public waters of Currituck County is prohibited from September 1 of each year to April 1 of the following year. All boats powered with gasoline, oil, or similarly operated engines shall use efficient mufflers in Currituck County except when otherwise authorized by the federal government.  (2026-57, s. 2(a).)
